Landmark Lumber is the regional distributor of ThermalPro Wood thermally modified wood products in the Mid-Atlantic region. Thermal modification uses a heat/steam process to remove organic compounds from the wood cells so they can not hold water, expand, contract, or provide nourishment for insects or fungi. This produces a naturally durable wood that is resistant to water, insects, and decay without the use of chemicals. Thermally modified wood, while new to the U.S., has been the exterior wood standard in Europe since 1990 due to its longevity, sustainability and chemical-free properties.

Thermally modified southern yellow pine is milled to the cladding profile of your choice, then factory-finished in your choice of clear coat to achieve a silver patina or one of 15 colors with UV protectant. Available in 8' to 16' lengths, our cladding arrives prefinished and ready to install—no additional coating needed before or after installation.
